Shalev Shalom
I live Jerusalem — a city of contrasts, emotion, and layered of history. As a photojournalist, the street is my studio and reality is my raw material.
Since 2020, I’ve been working as a staff photographer for Yedioth Ahronoth, Israel’s largest newspaper, capturing the moments that shape the national story. My goal isn’t just to show what’s happening, but to reveal what it feels like — to bring viewers closer to the people, tensions, and quiet truths behind the headlines.
I hold a degree in Photography and Communication from Hadassah Academic College in Jerusalem, where I developed both strong technical skills and a deep understanding of photography’s historical and cultural impact.
For me, photography is more than a profession — it’s a way to explore, to question, and sometimes, to find answers.
